As per a report from Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Manchester City have shown interest in Takefusa Kubo. They are poised to activate the release clause of the Real Sociedad winger, valued at €60 million. Simultaneously, the Japanese international is also being pursued by Real Madrid.
Since his move to Real Sociedad last year, Takefusa Kubo has proven himself as one of the finest young wingers globally. The 22-year-old struggled to leave his mark during his time with Los Blancos. Instead, he went on several loan spells without establishing a strong position at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, his transfer to Real Sociedad has significantly boosted his career. The Japanese international has been performing admirably in the 2023/24 season, contributing six goals and four assists in 23 appearances. Kubo's progress has garnered attention from numerous prestigious clubs.
